Packaging is Everything

They say first impression lasts. I don't believe that this statement is always generally true when it comes to people. I'm sure you've met a few people through different walks of life, who didn't give you a really good impression but as soon as you get to know them it changed. However, it is a little different when we are in an interview and is trying to get a job.  We want make sure the interviewer will like us. The same thing goes with packaging our jewelries. I want to make sure that my customers will enjoy opening their package when it arrives.

I make my jewelry boxes using acid-free card stocks. I design the layout using my favorite MS Word and print it. I usually make a pattern to be more consistent with the measurement and to make the process of making boxes a little easier.

My default packaging when customers did not request to gift wrap their item.
This is another way we gift wrap your order when you request for a gift ready packing. The top cover of the box can be a repurposed card covered by plane turquoise or purple wrapper and decorated with a handmade flower using the same material.
This is an example of gift wrapped package during Christmas season. Gift wrapping paper may vary from the picture shown here.
Have you ever tried making your own boxes? If so, how to do make yours? Any tips to share?
