How to Revive Tarnished Jewelry?

Fashioned jewelries and sterling silver jewelries are prone to oxidation that causes jewelries to tarnish and loose it's beautiful shine. Below are two procedures you can follow to restore fashion or custom or sterling silver jewelries back to it's original glory.

1. Cover a container with foil (or use an aluminum plate) then pour about 1 cup hot water in it.

2. Add 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon baking to the hot water hot water. It will produce bubble as soon as you put the baking soda so make sure your face is away from the container. Stir the to mix the solution well.

3. Place your tarnished jewelry in the mixture and soak it until you notice the metal change or turns lighter.

4. Rinse the jewelry with water and dry it with paper towel or a piece of cloth. Remember to not leave the fashion jewelries any more than 30 minutes in the mixture. As soon you notice the metal lighten, rinse the jewelry.

I have tried this procedure with a few of my jewelries and it worked pretty good. Let me know if you have tried it and what your experience has been so far.
